  • Sustainable investing isn't right for everyone. The right approach depends on your personal goals and circumstances.

  • Ethical and sustainable investments may perform differently to traditional funds and carry their own risks, including reduced diversification.

  • The value of investments and any income from them can fall as well as rise. You may not get back the full amount invested.

Investing with Purpose and Impact

As qualified, experienced financial planners, you should expect that your money will be invested to grow, at least in line with inflation over the years you spend after work.

We don’t see the purpose of this as growth for its own sake, so that you can do all the things which are important to you, whilst being confident you won’t run out of money.

We don’t believe trying to beat an arbitrary target has any value for you. The only goal which matters is yours.

Whilst your money is invested we believe it can be used to make society and the planet better. Most people don’t know where their funds are held and are often surprised when they find out.

Moral Compass of Investing

We don’t invest our clients’ money in ‘traditional’ funds where there is no consideration given to environmental or social issues. We believe there are strong moral and financial grounds for avoiding such companies, and greater opportunities to be found investing in those which are seeking to make some difference to our world.

Each of us will have different ideas about what that means and what matters to us - climate change, poverty, animal cruelty, employment rights, tobacco etc.

Be Part of the Solution

The good news is there is now much more information and choice to help you invest in ways which feel right for you.It is easy to be depressed and angry about the state of the world at the moment, and think there is nothing we can do. But we believe there is responsibility, opportunity and power in the choices we make with our money.

Wouldn’t it be more useful, exciting, and help you sleep better at night if you knew your money was doing some good?

The fundamental question is ‘do you want your money to be part of the problems we face or be a part of the solution?’
