Step 1 Initial Conversation

30-45 minute meeting to look at what prompted you to make contact now, where you are financially, where you would like to be and when, and what you are looking for from working with Nestbox.

We’ll explain more about who we are, how we work, how we invest our clients’ money, what we will do for you and what we expect from you. We will also talk about potential fees.

The meeting is at our expense, with no cost or commitment to/from you.

At the end we will agree whether we should continue to work together. If not, we’d like to part company knowing you had gained something from the conversation.

Step 2 Getting to Know Each Other

60-90 minute meeting to learn more about you and what is important to you

We will ask lots of questions so we are all clearer about where you are now, the challenges you are facing, what keeps you awake at night, what brings you a sense of well-being and what a perfect future looks like.

Together, we will look at your financial ‘stuff’ in practical terms, but also how you feel about it

We will ask you to complete a risk tolerance questionnaire to be clearer on how you feel when the value of your investments fall

We will discuss what sustainable investing means to you. What do you want your money to do?

You will have opportunity to ask your own questions, so you leave that meeting confident we have discussed everything of importance to you.

Step 3 Analysis & Planning

You will have done most of the work in Step 2, so it’s our turn now!

What you have told us will be the guiding star for our work in this stage. Now we know where you are heading and we can build a plan to help you get there. As there may be alternative routes, we will look at options open to you.

We will look at the financial arrangements you currently have and assess whether/how they are moving you in the right direction in the most effective way.

This will involve analysis of how appropriate they are to your view of risk and sustainability, and if not prepare options which are.

Step 4 Your Masterplan

60-90 minute meeting to explain and build on the work we have done.

A time for you to ask questions about the areas we have identified as needing attention or improvement, explore options open to you - ‘what happens if……?’

When we have agreed how to move forward we will provide you with a written report detailing what we are recommending and why.

But always remember, if you don’t understand something, that’s our fault not yours
